How to check Delhi High Court case status
- Open the current official High Court of Delhi website or the relevant official case-status search page.
- Choose the search method that matches the information available to you: Case Type/Case Number, Party Name, Advocate Name or Diary Number.
- Enter the required details and select the case year where the form asks for it.
- Enter the Captcha displayed on the official page.
- Click Submit to display matching case information.
- Use the case/order links in the results to review the available case status, listing date, court number, case history or orders.
1. Case Type / Case Number wise Status Search
The current official Case Type search asks for the Case Type, Case Number, Year and Captcha. After submission, matching results may show the Diary No./Case No., case status, parties, listing date and court number.
2. Petitioner / Respondent Name wise Status Search
The current Party Name search accepts a petitioner/respondent name in full or in part. The official form presently requires at least four characters, together with the Case Year and Captcha.
3. Advocate Name wise Status Search
The Advocate Name search accepts the advocate's name in full or part. The current form requires at least four characters, the Case Year and Captcha before submission.
4. Diary Number wise Status Search
If the Diary Number of the main case is known, use the official Diary Number search. Enter the Diary Number, select the relevant year and complete the Captcha.
Delhi High Court Case History Search
Case history can be accessed through the current Delhi High Court case-search applications. The Case Wise search asks for Case Type, Case Number, Year and Captcha, and displays matching case information after submission.
Case Wise Case History
- Select the Case Type.
- Enter the Case Number.
- Select the Case Year.
- Enter the Captcha.
- Submit the form and open the relevant result.
FIR Number wise Case Search
The current FIR Number search asks the user to select the Police Station, enter the FIR Number, select the year and complete the Captcha. Matching results can display the case/diary number, parties and advocate information.
Impugned Order wise Search
The current Delhi High Court Impugned Order search provides fields for the Court/Authority, Case Type, Case Number, Case Year, Date of Decision and filing-date range, followed by Captcha and submission.

The current Delhi High Court website provides separate access to Daily Orders and Judgments. Search results and order pages may provide downloadable PDF orders. Official digitally signed orders may also carry a QR code for authenticity verification.
