Registering Complaint online with National Commission for Women. How to file petition with NCW

You can file complaints related to domestic violence, harassment, dowry, torture, desertion, bigamy, rape, refusal to register FIR, cruelty by husband, deprivation, gender discrimination and sexual harassment at work place etc online with National Commission for Women by using the website of NCW. Steps to file Complaint online with NCW

 

Step 1: Visit the Website of NCW by using the link http://ncwapps.nic.in/

The following menu will open

Step 2: Click on Register Complaint Button

 

The following Menu will appear:

Step 3: Click on Complaint Registration Button

The following menu will open

NCW Lodge Complaint

NCW Complaint Register online

NCW Complaint file online

 

 

Step 4: Fill the Details of Complainant

Name, Address, State, District, PIN Code, E-mail, Mobile No, Sex

 

Step 5: Fill Details of Victim

Whether Complaint is Victim (Yes or No), Name, Address, STate, District, PIN Code, E-mail, Mobile No, Sex, Date of Birth, Religion, Caster, Whether mentally or physically Challenged or not

 

Step 6: Fill Details of Respondent (Opposite Party)

Name, Address, State, District, PIN Code, E-mail, Mobile No, Sex

 

Step 7: Fill Details of Complaint

Department of the Respondent (If applicable)

Date of Incident

Your Case pending if any in Court (Yes or No) If Yes mention Case No

Is your case pending before any State Commission for Women (Yes / No)

If Yes Mention Case Number

 

Step 8: Insert Complete Details of incident

Describe complete details of the incident in this column

 

Step 9: Insert the text as shown in the box "Captcha"

 

Step 10: Click on Submit Button

After completing this process your complaint will be submitted with the National Commission for Women. You will get online receipt for from NCW. This receipt number can be used to track complaint status with National Commission for Women.

 

 

The Complaints and Investigation Cell of the Commission processes all the complaints whether received written or suo-motu under Section 10 of the NCW Act.
