Law applicable to Vehicle NOC

For a vehicle subject to hire-purchase, lease or hypothecation, the relevant financier-consent requirements under the Motor Vehicles Act may also apply.

Clear pending motor vehicle tax and any other dues that may block the service. Make sure the mobile number linked with the vehicle record is usable where OTP verification is required. If the vehicle is under an active hire-purchase, lease or hypothecation agreement, check whether financier consent/NOC is required before proceeding.
