Delhi Ration Card Application Status Online 2026

Track a ration card application through the official e-District Delhi portal, check pending resubmission, and access official Delhi Food & Supplies and e-Ration Card services.

Important 2026 Update

Fresh applications for Delhi ration cards and applications for addition of members are being accepted through the e-District Delhi portal from 15 May 2026. Delhi Government has also stated that old and long-pending applications may be returned to the applicant's e-District login for resubmission with the required Family Income Certificate issued by the jurisdictional Revenue Authority.

Applicants with an older pending case should therefore sign in to e-District and check the "Pending for Submission" section under the Apply Online menu.

  • Check Pending for Submission.
  • If the application has been returned, follow the portal instructions and upload the required Family Income Certificate or other requested documents.

Legal Framework for Delhi Ration Cards

Delhi ration-card/National Food Security services operate under the National Food Security Act, 2013 and the applicable Delhi food-security rules and orders. Delhi notified the Delhi Food Security Rules, 2026 and subsequently published an amendment notification in July 2026.

The 2026 rules include updated eligibility provisions for Priority Households. Applicants should rely on the latest official notification and portal instructions because eligibility and documentary requirements can change.
