Old Punjab Police registration steps are outdated
The previous page relied on an old ppsaanjh.in account-registration workflow and screenshots. Punjab's current official service catalogue identifies Domestic Help or Servant Verification as a Saanjh service, and the State's 2025 citizen-portal material continues to list it separately from Employee Verification. Use the current official form and portal available on the date of application.

Domestic Help Verification and Employee Verification Are Different
| Service | Use | Current Punjab Listing |
|---|---|---|
| Domestic Help or Servant Verification | Verification of a domestic worker, servant or household help engaged by a resident. | Listed as a separate Saanjh service. |
| Employee Verification | Verification connected with employment outside the domestic-help category. | Punjab's 2025 citizen-portal service list identifies Employee Verification separately. |
| Private Employee PCC | Police Clearance Certificate for private employment where a PCC is specifically required. | Published separately in the Punjab Saanjh forms catalogue. |

- Enter the domestic worker's personal information, permanent and present address, police-station details and other particulars required by the form.

The official Punjab Saanjh form collects detailed particulars to assist police verification. Prepare the information before starting the application.
- Name, gender, date of birth and parent/spouse details.
- Permanent and correspondence address, district, tehsil and police station.
- Nationality, marital status, contact number and email address, where applicable.
- Identity particulars such as voter ID or Aadhaar-related details where requested by the current form.

Current Legal Framework for Punjab Saanjh Services
Public-service delivery in Punjab is governed by the Punjab Transparency and Accountability in Delivery of Public Service Act, 2018 (Punjab Act No. 16 of 2018). The Act empowers the State to notify public services, designated officers, appellate authorities, stipulated time limits and service fees, and provides for electronic service delivery where feasible.
The related Punjab Transparency and Accountability in Delivery of Public Service Rules, 2021 are also listed on India Code. Because verification services, time limits and charges may be amended by notification, applicants should rely on the current Saanjh service entry rather than an old screenshot or archived web form.
Current Facilitation Charge
The Punjab Government's currently published Domestic Help or Servant Verification form displays a ₹200 facilitation charge. Since fees can be revised through administrative or service-delivery updates, confirm the amount shown by the current official portal or Saanjh Kendra before making payment.
Why Servant Verification Is Useful
Police verification gives the employer a formal channel for submitting the domestic worker's identity, address, previous-employment and reference information for verification. It should be treated as one part of responsible hiring and record-keeping. Employers should also verify original identity documents and retain accurate contact and emergency information with due regard to privacy and lawful use of personal data.
Before You Submit
- Use only official Punjab Government or Punjab Police service channels.
- Select Domestic Help/Servant Verification rather than Employee Verification unless the latter is actually required.
- Enter addresses exactly as supported by the worker's documents.
- Provide previous-employer and introducer information accurately where required.
- Do not upload altered or misleading identity documents.
- Keep the acknowledgement/application number until verification is completed.
