Bar Council of India Internship Guidance
Under the Bar Council of India Rules of Legal Education, 2008, the prescribed minimum internship period during legal studies is 12 weeks for the three-year law course and 20 weeks for the five-year law course. The Rules also contemplate an internship diary and evaluation by the internship guide and a core faculty member. Students should follow the additional internship and certificate requirements, if any, prescribed by their own university or law college.
