How to Search status of case online by using Act in District and Taluka Court to know status and details of case.

What is Search by Act ?

You can search cases with District and Taluka Court online by using Act in which the case is related, Act type and Section of the Act under which the case is filed. You can get the details and current status of the case by entering Act and other information. This facility can be accessed through mobile phone also.

Steps to search cases with Act in district and taluka court

Step 1: Visit the Website of Ecourt https://ecourts.gov.in/ecourts_home/

Step 2: Go to District Court Services

Step 3: Click on Click here for District Court Services

Step 4: Chose the language you want from the top right menu.

Step 5: Go to Search menu shown at the Left side of the Website

Step 6: Click on Case Status

The following Menu will open

Step 7: Select State, District and Court Complex

Now the following Menu will Open

Step 8: Click on Act

Step 9: Enter the name of Act in Search Act Column

Step 10: Select Act Type from the List

Step 11: Type section in the Under Section column

Step 12: Select Pending or Disposed

Step 13: Captcha code showing on the Screen. If not visible click on refresh

Step 14: Click on Go Button

Now Your case details and status will be displayed on the Screen

In case you don't know under which Act the case is filed and want to chose another option in place of Act, the case status can be searched by other options like Advocate Name, FIR Number, Filing Number of the Case, Case Number, CRN Number, Case Registration Number, Party Name, etc.
